About Our Pastor
Anne in Washington D.C.
Rev. Anne Dunlap is the pastor of Comunidad Liberación/Liberation Community. A graduate of the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO, Anne has worked in solidarity with justice issues, particularly concerning Latin Americans and immigrants, for 20 years. Her work has included coordinating a ground-breaking program for the Presbyterian Church (USA) and partner organizations in Mexico and Central America, which sought to replace traditional dependency models of mission with ones of mutuality and justice. She has also worked with Latin American migrant and refugee communities in the US, as well as advocating for the rights of First Nations peoples, women, and LGBTQ folk. Anne is active in workers' rights and economic justice issues as a founding member of the Colorado chapter of the Interfaith Worker Justice Committee. She blogs for "God's Politics" and Christians for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, both projects of Sojourners. Anne serves the UCC at the Association and Conference levels on committees, and the National level as a certified national Justice-LED trainer.
