About Our Pastor
Anne in Washington D.C.
Rev. Anne Dunlap is a United Church of Christ minister and the pastor of Comunidad Liberación/Liberation Community in Aurora, CO, a bilingual, multi-cultural base community in the Christian tradition, which strives to live faithfully, to embody God's vision of the beloved community, and to resist joyfully oppression and injustice. A graduate of the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO, Anne has worked in solidarity with Latin American communities in the US, Central America, and Mexico for over 20 years; she also advocates for the rights of First Nations peoples, women, and LGBTQ folk. Anne is active in workers' rights and economic justice issues as a founding member of the Colorado chapter of the Interfaith Worker Justice Committee.  She blogs for "God's Politics" and Christians for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, both projects of Sojourners.  Anne serves the UCC at the Association and Conference levels, and the National level as a certified national Justice-LED trainer.  Anne also serves on the board of FRESC: Good Jobs, Strong Communities.
